Current Postings:
​
School-Age Nature Educator
Leads groups of elementary age children in inquiry-based programs and projects during the summer and after school.
​
Qualifying Credentials: Associate's degree or higher in a child-related field with 480 hours of experience. Qualified candidate will have prior successful experience in group leadership, program development, curriculum application, and project-based learning. Highly successful candidate will have experience with civic involvement, committee work, and outdoor education.

Duties:

Inspire a connection to nature through engagement, experiences, exploration, and topic extensions

Effectively supervise children in indoor and outdoor settings
-
Effectively implement inquiry-based curriculum and objectives
-
Enthusiastically engage with community partners

Effectively implement licensing compliance measures
-
Schedule and supervise staff and volunteers
-
Create lesson plans, follow procedures, maintain records
-
Clean, organize, and stage spaces
-
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, partners, colleagues, and children

This part-time position begins summer 2023 and grows into a leadership role. Additional hours available with opportunities to expand programming and sub in other classrooms.

Rate: $16-$20 hourly
​
Assistant Nature Educators
Assist lead teachers in leading groups of preschool and elementary age children in inquiry-based programs and projects year round.
​
Qualifying Credentials: Successful experience working with groups of children. A gentle and child-focused approach. Interest in nature-based education and leadership.
​
Duties:
