2023 WILDERPLAY
FOREST SCHOOL CLASSES

ENROLLMENT POLICIES:

Oh, we will have a beautiful summer together!  Our focus is on building strong relationships with the children enrolled and managing risks in a nature setting to provide an enriching and safe experience.  A small program like ours requires the following policies to operate within our capacity and to keep tuition as low as possible.  Thank you!

Enrollment and Tuition:

We offer weekly enrollment with no partial weeks.
Tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance.
No credits or refunds provided.

You may enroll in as many weeks as you'd like!
Spots will fill; late enrollment is not guaranteed.

$80 (per child) nonrefundable deposit required
to confirm enrollment.
Deposit applies to the first week's tuition.

Remaining tuition is billed throughout the summer.  A signed waiver is required to participate.

Unfortunately, late payments can not be accommodated.
Unpaid tuition cancels your enrollment and the spot will be filled from our wait list.

Eligible Participants:

A child is ready to participate in
Wilderplay Forest School Classes when they are:

-Exiting Kindergarten through 4th grade in June 2023*
*children exiting preschool may be found eligible
on a case-by-case basis

-Ready to use the bathroom 100% independently (we are almost always outdoors and use a porta-potty often)

-Ready for outdoor adventures that bring exposure to heat, sun, rain, wind, and the flora and fauna we encounter, including insects

-Ready for outdoor adventures that include walking/hiking significant distances every day!

-Ready for a device-free day.  No electronics permitted.

-Ready to be safe in a unique environment where we balance open-endedness (we're wild and free!) with brief but very important moments of compliance when hazards do arise.  An ability and willingness to follow directions at all times for the safety of the group is required for attendance.

What Happens Next?

-You will receive an email with instructions to confirm eligibility and enrollment by signing up for our management app Procare Connect and submitting your deposit.  This app is where we manage it all including billing and payment, communication, emergency contact info, and attendance.

-Prior to each class you will receive a newsletter with our summer handbook including all the details around drop off/pick up, staff, gear, emergency plans, etc. so you and your child know what to expect as we go
